Did not finish book.

As surprised as I was to note that I last read a House of Night book two years ago, I've finally given up on the House of Night series. I didn't get the criticism of the series before but I do now. Maybe I've just grown in two years and maybe I've just read too many good books. It seems that the authors ran out the interesting mythology and decided to milk a love triangle instead. I was irritated to the point of being offended by the authors' over the top, stereotyped representation of the gay, black and Southern characters in the story. News alert: most people just are, they don't go around parading their labels, acting like complete parodies of their population groups.
