The Forever Sea by Joshua Phillip Johnson

Did not finish book.

For me, this fantasy wasn’t bringing anything new to the table. While a sea made of grass is unique, the building blocks that make up the world, magic system, characters, and plot are old news. 
None of this makes the story bad; but it’s why I couldn’t get hooked. Perhaps this is better suited for someone new to the fantasy genre, and would like a gentle introduction.
