the first 200 pages went by quickly, and it was just like i expected. simple vocabulary and nothing dramatic. however, during those 200 first pages, everything written on the back of the book had already happened. the book is over 700 pages fyi, and that did not make any sense. what could those last 500 pages possible be about?
-
well, the last 500 pages were just tessa and hardin fighting and making up, over and over again. i had to take an eternity of breaks because it was so boring and repetetive. after we collided was also annoying because i didn’t like any of the main characters. i find tessa and hardin both stupid and childish. they cannot see the consequences of what they do, and it’s driving me nuts. even after all their fights. i know there are two more books following their story, but i cannot see what they can possibly be about. and if it happens to be important stuff in their beginnings, why could not anna todd put them in after we collided where literally nothing happened during the last 500 pages? i do get that you earn more money from more books, but you risk losing a big audience that way as well. the book also had no plot which also made it even more boring.

the book made no sense in several situations.for an example, why does tessa - the biggest nerd on the planet apparently - leave school after only being there for half a day only to buy hardin a present? in the end when hardin gets his present, the gift is not anything tessa bought that day.
-
i was so exited to read it after reading after last year, but that excitement died fast. i am not going to follow this series any further. especially since there was a bonus chapter in the end from several years later where you saw what their future looked like. i bet the road was as bumpy as in after we collided, but i have no interest in reading about it. i got my ending, and i find it good enough to end there.
