I’ve been hard of hearing since I was a little girl, I don’t remember what it was slime to be hearing and I won’t be hearing again bc of certain medical problems. I grew up being made fun of for my deafness and now I always feel embarrassed when I have to ask for a repeat and I often feel shame that I shouldn’t feel. This book perfectly described the way i feel about my own hearing loss, and the few organised “deaf days out” I went of I always never felt deaf enough.
This book is amazing from a hard of hearing perspective and I couldn’t recommend it for.
