What a weird book! This was a fascinating read that made you feel interested in the characters and the world- and the prose was exceptional. At least that applies to like 80% of the book which feels like a textured, savory meal that stays with you. Unfortunately there's a solid 20% of meandering nothing-burger content that does not really add much in the end.
It's a real good book that could have been probably 150 pages shorter. Still glad I read it though!
