this book was so good :)

i love the take on the faeries and the twists of the plot. it was so good and i couldnt put it down (my gramma kept laughing at me because i wouldnt).

speaking of the plot, i really loved it. in the beginning, it moved a little too quickly, but once they settled in nevernever (faeryland), everything took on the perfect pace. the ending was the best cliffhanger, as well. A!

characters: i really loved meghan. in the begginning, when robbie/puck is introducing her to the idea of faeries, she seems to accept it really quickly, which felt a little unrealistic. again, though, once she arrived in nevernever, she became a determined, slightly badass girl who was still completely relate-able. robbie/puck was hilarious, i fell in love with him so easily, as with grim. they were so entertaining and awesome. ash was awesome, too. i loved his development as they traveled through nevernever. the king/queens were great, and the bad guy was a great bad guy. (however, it was weird how he was attracted to meghan so quickly when they came face-to-face). A+

and the romance! i definitely see a love triangle approaching in the next book, and i've already chosen my side, pretty much ;p. but nevertheless, i loved how julie kagawa developed it. i can definitely tell it wont be an extremely annoying triangle, like in twilight. even though i know who i'm rooting for, i still feel like i'm rooting for the other side, too. A!

overall, definite A :) fantastic book that is a great read! i cant wait to read the other three!
