The series was terrific and I greatly enjoyed the premise and story over the 3 novels.
The 3rd book in the trilogy was something I was looking forward to...but the built up anticipation and excitement kind of melted away as I worked through the first half. Maybe I was looking for more robot fights and more exploration and discovery. There were definitely some of that in the latter half of the book, but it was a slow crawl to a fast and satisfying finish. Sometimes you don't want a book to finish, but the slow pace at the beginning had me yearning to get to the end with the hope there would be more action and just to get the story over with.
Nonetheless, the series was enjoyable.
