Agatha Raisin and the Wellspring of Death by M.C. Beaton

4.0

I really like Agatha and I like these books. They're light and enjoyable reads, as long as you don't mind some of the author's decidedly old-fashioned opinions which she voices through her characters.

Here, Agatha once more decides to soothe her lovelorn heart by taking on another freelance PR job suggested by ex-employee Roy—but the water company that plans to sell water from a spring on public land is a tough customer. And once Agatha sees blood in the water, she won't rest until she knows who's responsible. This one's a bit shocking at the end too!
