This book was very cute; there was a dual timeline, a cute kid, low stakes, and a grumpy yet sweet man, so I’m not exactly didn’t work for me here. I think my biggest problem was I didn’t feel the chemistry between Farley and Meyer; I didn’t really care if they ended up together…however, I’m in the minority with this book, so if your looking for a good palate cleanser, I think you might enjoy this book.
