A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

4.0

The language used to obscure or dilute the violence in Alex's actions and activities was a challenge to read at times, deciphering which words referred to what. It was worth the challenge, and is certainly one that I'd re-read to discover more details that I missed. It also brings up some bigger questions, as dystopian novels often do. I'm so glad I decided to pick it up and commit to reading through it!
