Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle by Amelia Nagoski, Emily Nagoski

informative medium-paced

1.75

i found the sections about sleep and about why exercising is good for mental health and stress to be the most helpful or enlightening for me and the rest to be a load of whatever. i ended up skimming the last like 3/4 of the book because the jokey wording was irritating and much of what was written were things i have heard from online or people in my life. i also found the wording to be frustrating because so much of things that were true were worded in the “you don’t owe anyone anything” type of way which is just something that i strongly personally disagree with encouraging people to do. i can see how this would be helpful to people in their 30s and on who are just beginning to learn about topics in this book but it was not for me.
