First of all, I think I said in my review of Demon Princess that this story needs to evolve a bit more and really show what’s going on before I would love it… And I was right! This sequel has so much action, so much story to tell and relevations to be made, it’s almost incredible that it was only 127 pages long.
Lynn has succeeded in creating a believable fantasy world where there’s a constant battle going on, and write a story that isn’t too rushed or leaves out details in such a small book. It has easily become one of my more loved fantasy books, especially since you can read it really fast and it won’t feel like the writing was too rushed, which some books can have.
