Rereading this series years later, after watching the movies countless times, is a completely different experience but no less enjoyable.
It’s interesting to experience things from Katniss’s point of view and see how she misses obvious signs from Peeta, yet understand why when you think about her past and how focused she’s had to be on surviving and making sure her family survived.
