For a debut novel Heir of Fates does a stellar job of grabbing the reader's attention and not just by giving us one or two POVs, but four to explore this vast world through.

And vast this world is. The magic system is unique with different races and communities having different beliefs and magic. Silas, Maura, Seraphine and Nerisha are all great characters to follow and the explore the world. Because they are quite different from one another this leads to many interesting plots and stories to explore.

I cannot wait until for the sequel to see what happens and explore even more of the world and lore.
