The Curse in the Candlelight by Sophie Cleverly

4.0

Back at rookwood but with a more focussed storyline that really worked for me. No evil teachers, and no distractions, one storyline surrounding a couple of people. And it’s quite well handled too - nicely mysterious, but enough clues to be figuring things out.

And as much as I love the relationship between the twins and Ariadne, it was nice to see a little break in it, all friendships have their ups and downs after all.

Good old fashioned revenge plot. One of my least favourite tropes but handled well and for a reason that made sense for the person. πŸ‘πŸ»
