SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)
Emelle has been summoned back to Cupidville and is in big trouble. But when she’s about to be terminated, she manages to fight the Head of Cupidity and he’s terminated instead, making her the new “boss lady”. She also has amassed other interesting powers from jumping in and out of the Veil.
But when she returns from Cupidville, she realizes that what was only a few hours for her was an entire month in the fae realm. The rebellion has intensified and the attacks from the prince are increasing. Her mates are a mess and there’s a lot of repairing to do within her covey.
So Emelle is ready to fight against the prince once and for all and secure her covey so she can finally have her own HEA.

REVIEW:
So I enjoyed the beginning of this one while Emelle was in Cupidville. This part was interesting and funny. I also loved seeing her cupid friend, Sev, some more. He’s hilarious. Would love a story for him. Raziel and Jerkahf were also really amusing.
But after that I found the book to be rather slow and I was not happy with yet another prolonged separation from Emelle’s mates. In this one she doesn’t officially reunite with three of them until 50%, and poor Okot is mind controlled for 90% of the book and separated from her that entire time, leaving very little bonding time with him.
This really long separation really brought the book down for me. I enjoyed the action and humor. But I wanted MORE romance and sexy times in this final book (other than the next novella). And we didn’t get that.
I did like how everything played out with taking down the prince and the king. But I also felt like the fact that Okot and most of the prince’s army was being mind controlled was REALLY obvious and someone should have come to that conclusion a lot sooner than they did.
Overall the book was just okay. It was a little slow and I didn’t like how long she was apart from the guys. When she was with them though, they were sweet and sexy together and I liked that.
