Leonard Cohen: On a wire by Philippe Girard

lighthearted slow-paced

2.5

This was remarkably uneventful. The illustrations were fine but all vignettes were scattered and sometimes way too brief. There didn't seem to be an overall flow. I came from the perspective of someone with very low knowledge of Cohens life and this book just sketched him as someone with addiction issues and a lifelong preoccupation with sex (apparently, according to the book, especially into women with white supremacist and antisemitic beliefs??).
