If the first section of the first of the two included books was it this would be a resounding 5-out-of-5, but, much like a dinner guest that would feature in one of Fran's pieces, it overstays its welcome as witty Barb's give way to cliché elitism. Worth a read, but "Metropolitan Life" is the better half and I wouldn't begrudge you stopping there.
