The Sands of Time by Sidney Sheldon

Did not finish book. Stopped at 80%.
The beginning was good. It was a lot of flashback exposition but the flashback was engaging to keep me going. Then it turned into just violence and sex and though the primary genre is thriller/mystery. All flashback is somehow connected to the nun's sexual appeal.
