Thirteen Reasons why, by Jay Asher

3.0

This book has been on my TBR for ages and is now made into a tv show. I am often reluctant to pick up hyped books like this but I needed something to read for a readathon.
This book is about suicide, revenge, group pressure. I was having a bit of a problem with the story. Though I do understand what happened but I did feel as if Hannah forced a few of the situations too. I did not know enough of her to understand all of her motivations. This does not mean I think the people harassing her where innocent. The way they behaved can cause permanent damage to people and they should be confronted with their behaviour.
A great YA read, specially with social media today where people are not able to escape the outside world anymore it is a good thing that a there is a book on such a subject being so popular.
