Sex, Lies, and Online Dating by Rachel Gibson

I enjoy this author's giggly confections. I usually do. And I was pretty into this novel, I mean, okay, no, i wasn't super connected with the protagonist(s), but I was groovin' along just fine, mellowing on the porch with this book. And I loved the serial killer aspects of it. And I'm not sure if it was MEANT to be taken this way, but (SPOILER!) the scene where the detective thinks she's the killer and they're going at it in his hallway, and his lines of seduction are "Oh, yeah, baby. It's gonna be all right. I'm gonna get you help." AKA "Gawd, you're so freakin hot, i know im supposed to arrest you but you ARE A HOT NAKED LADY AND YOU ARE TOUCHING MY PENIS, and by Golly! You're not goin to jail, we're going to get you help! Sexual healing, amiright??
But, then, idk after she was definitively NOT the killer, and there weren't any wacky mistaken identity hijinks to look forward to, it got so bland and boring, i had to give up. I don't even know who the killer is!! I thought either the woman in her writer's club, that'd be interesting, but it was probably the book store lady, right?? Who was it? Damn, why didn't i flip to the back??
