Took me TOO LONG to finish this. Not my fave kind of read. It's very Noir-like, and the jumps between flashbacks and plot development among the uneven chapters were too long-winded and ambiguous for me. Not even sure if it can even be called a thriller or not. The writing (or at least, translation) is not terrible, which is what the star is for; good flow and not difficult to understand. But I can forsee it being turned into a very good Noir film, for sure.
