A great book! Well written and a very important story. You will feel for all these characters and go in this journey with them. Heartbreaking at times but also hopeful, this book does not shy away from hard truths. I have no complaints!
Graphic: Child death, Death, Rape, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Grief, and Murder
Moderate: Gun violence, Miscarriage, Suicidal thoughts, Violence, Blood, Trafficking, Injury/Injury detail, and Deportation
Minor: Vomit and Death of parent
This is a pretty heavy read that covers a lot of harsh topics but not in a way just to be gory, it is essential to the story
