Stolz und Vorurteil by Jane Austen

5.0

I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot,or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation for my love (to this book). It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.

It was a reread after a long time and how much I enjoyed it!
Let me tell you what I ardently admired and loved here:

1. The growing of the characters of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth
2. Mrs. Bennets poor nerves
3. Elizabeth Bennet. That’s it. She’s great, don’t tell me otherwise.
4. Miss Bingleys hard trying but failing.
(Summed up everything that was written to laugh about.)

For me this book is a perfect mix of seriousness, cute&enjoyable romance and humor. And definitely a story I love to go back to once in a while to be my 15-year-old me again gushing over Mr. Darcy.
