Neuromancer by William Gibson

5.0

It's no surprise to me that Neuromancer is lauded as such an important work for its genre. The plot was gripping even when I found the details muddied and hard to follow. Gibson doesn't give you anything for free and I was constantly flipping back through previous pages to connect dots for myself. All worth it to be rewarded with both an interesting exploration of this particular world teeming with ideas of what the future could have in store, alongside storytelling with a deeper emotional resonance.
