The Opal Deception: The Graphic Novel by Eoin Colfer, Andrew Donkin, Paolo Lamanna, Giovanni Rigano

3.0

The illustrations tend towards lots of blues, greens, and oranges but are clear and it is easy to differentiate the various characters. There is enough backstory for a reader to understand the action without having read the earlier books in the series. Those who have read the text version will likely find this a bit too brief for their liking. However, it may tempt some into reading the text version if they haven't.
