This book was so much fun. I loved Summer and Rhett together, I liked seeing how their relationship evolved. She didn’t push him to end his career like his family had been doing but instead could understand why he was doing it. At times did she not like it, yes but she still showed up for him.

That’s one thing I wish would have happened in this book, that his family would finally understand why he’s been doing this and just support him without making their little comments. I think if they had shown up one time it would have made a world of difference to him, that they finally were taking him serious. But otherwise I loved his family.

I also loved Summers relationship with her dad. You learn in the book about her family dynamics and I just love how her dad always made time for her, was always texting (about the job but he was making dad comments in there), his love for her was just apparent.

You also learn of some shitty things that happened in this book and honestly I think they were let off too easy. Throw ‘em under the bus.

I wish we saw more of Summer’s friend Willa cause she was fun! I know the next book is about her though so I’m not too upset.
