Sweet meets swoon
Cole and Annie's story was really interesting to read.
While Annie had a hard time reading her new reality, her neighbour, Cole, was there to help share the load.
What started as a friendship slowly turned into more as the two of them and Annie's son, Jones, spent more and more time together.
There was a lot of emotional baggage for Annie to come to terms with, and all this time, Cole had a partner.
When push came to shove and the pair experienced an emotional—and possibly life-changing moment—everything became clear to Cole.
This was a sweet read. Low steam and slow-burning, but high in drama. A nice change of pace from my normal read.
