I finished this book in a matter of hours. The first time I read it, I was much younger than Katniss. Now that I'm older, I can see how young and lifelike and nuanced she is. I don't know how Suzanne Collins does it, but it's so easy to see each character and fall in love with them immediately. Even the ones that we don't see for long, it's still meaningful when they're mentioned. I love the way she writes.
I forgothow little time we actually spend in the arena . It's so jam-packed that I remembered it more than anything else. And Peeta! When he mentioned the baby , I could just barely see it coming in my memory and it still absolutely shook me! I love his dramatic ass TToTT
