I don't know that I'll ever process what I just read but I'm blown away! My initial impression was that this was a great love story with a few twists knowing it is a duet. However, the plot was completely unexpected and such an amazing twist that there was no way I'd have seen this coming.
I adored Josie, loved every scene she was in and wished she was in more when it was Colten's POV. Her mind is fascinating and throughout the book it gets more and more interesting.
The dynamic between Colten and Josie is very interesting. They have a push and pull that transcended 17 years of separation and it came back just as strong as it did when they were kids.
After finishing this book, I know without a doubt that this book will finish in my top 5 of the year!
