The Other Side of Midnight by Sidney Sheldon

2.0

Steven Pacey delivers as an audiobook narrator.

As for the book itself, it starts off pretty strong with decently compelling character introductions and a prologue that skewed my expectations by seeming to set up a grander scope than we got. After the halfway mark, it devolves into some bafflingly shallow and inexplicable “twists” as characters lose any sense of agency and become pawns in some thin intrigue and a deeply underwhelming legal drama conclusion.
