The Forgotten 500: The Untold Story of the Men Who Risked All For the Greatest Rescue Mission of World War II by Gregory A. Freeman

5.0

5 stars! I've read so many world war II books and never came across this amazing story. I couldn't put down this book. Literally! I read most of it, uninterrupted, at the airport and then on my flight from CA to Europe. It was that good. Every once in a while you come across a book that is so well written that you want to read all the other books by the author (regardless of topic) and that is how I feel about this author. Granted, the story was captivating and so the author had help with great material, but I will soon be reading other books by Gregory Freeman.
