I was so excited for this, but so disappointed. I didn't like the main couple in this this time like I did in the first book, and the couple that developed between Jax and another person was just not there. There was no chemistry that I could see. I was really sad because I had loved the first book so much, but this one was such a let down. There was too much happening, but at the same time, there was nothing happening at all. I was really looking forward to this one because the last one ended on such a cliff hanger. There was barely any plot, and it almost seemed like this was a first book with how little the characters were flushed out. The main couple argued and fought and broke up constantly, and I just didn't see a connection at all. the couple that developed was not flushed out at all and was just sort of happened. I did love Simeon and Danial though.
I did like some of the new characters that we got, as well as a dragon named Nipper, but that was really all.
