I'm sorry, but Chu Wanning can whip me with Tianwen anytime ðŸ¤
I went through so many emotions with this! The main pairing characters are both kind of terrible people. I mean, Chu Wanning will whip the crap out of anyone because he can't control his temper and even though he fights himself on it, he's interested in 16 year old Mo Ran even though he is mentally 32 because he was reborn, but Wanning doesn't know that.
And then Mo Ran, in his previous life, tortured, raped, and killed Chu Wanning. I'm not even sure what order that was even in yet.
But yet, I still love them and want everyone to be happyðŸ˜. Neither of them is all bad, and as the story goes on, they just hurt my heart. I just want to give them both a hug.
The main characters and important side characters are distinct from each other and have depth. The plot doesn't rely on the developing romance (maybe dark romance is a better description?) to keep it interesting. It's hard to say anything about the plot because so much happens in just one volume! Honestly, I have no words.
I can't wait to read the next volume, but at the same time, I just want to spend some time reading back over the passages I flagged.
