If I am being honest, I think I would have liked to see this as a show more than I would have enjoyed reading the book. It was dark and twisty, which I like. I can say that at least. However, the way the book was written was a bit all over the place. I want to say that the author did this on purpose to really drive home the state of mind of the main character. Regardless, it took a bit for me to catch onto what was even happening in the book.

Pros:
  • Thrilling plot! Also, very dark and a bit gruesome at times. I rather enjoyed it!

Cons:
  • The writing was hard to follow at times, but especially in the beginning.
  • The ending was great, but also felt a little rushed?

Final thoughts: I would recommend this book to someone. I would also like to read more books by this author and see if I enjoy them a bit more!
