• lacking in plot and characterisation
• everything was just lacking
• 600+ pages but i felt as if everything wasn’t enough. i still wanted more. and i felt the same way as i did in the previous book too
• but this one, there’s legit nothing much. i loved the writing and everything but the story was very lacklustre and so much improvement could be made especially with the plot and character development and also convincing us of the love between bran and liadan
• i thought it was going to be adventurous but nah it wasn’t that much. not as much as it wa in the previous book
