Influence Without Authority by Allan R. Cohen

3.0

Interesting to read, the content was easy to understand and explained itself well. On the other hand, the flow of the content was constently cut by exemples/anecdotes of people living what the book wanted to teach, making it harder to follow what the point was. A lot of the content can be boiled down to simple concepts. I learned a bit, but it felt more like a book about stuff I already knew being applied at work.

The anecdotes felt like the writer showing off how good their technique worked more than how to apply better the theories brought up in the book. The first half is all you need to read to understand, the rest of the book is just to put context to the theory.
