Garment of Shadows by Laurie R. King

5.0

An excellent book of suspense and political intrigue. This is such a breath of fresh air after The Pirate King. All of the characters are interesting, the little-known history is fascinating and King manages to weave a great fictional story in among all that history.

Sometimes the attention to setting detail can slow things down a bit, but it was nice to feel like I was actually there in Morocco as well.
