This is a fun series - a quick read with lots of laughs and some steamy bits. The characters are great, and I enjoyed the unfolding of the murder mystery, though I am not sure I entirely understand why they came after Dot.

Was it just because Chief was interested in her, and he was determined to take away what Chief wanted, because Chief wouldn't let him have what he wanted? It seems like that's the explanation, but it felt a little thin. Then again, he was nuts, so I suppose there doesn't have to be much of a reason once he's triggered.

I like the town, and I like Dot and Josie a hell of a lot. I'm excited to see how Dot will continue to bring happiness and hope to Cedar Falls.
