The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter

4.0

Where they fight, the world burns!

Tao's quest for vengeance leads him down a path of great power, but personal turmoil. Sacrificing peace, sleep, and sanity for the sake of power. Through this Tao will learn secrets nobody is meant to learn, and the truth behind the war that has plagued his people for generations.

A lot of what happens in The Rage of Dragons is familiar: characters, plot points, and classic fantasy tropes. But Winter's Xhosa-inspired world makes them feel fresh. This book will open your mind to the possibilities of fantasy outside the tired medieval times and British aristocracy. A change in setting, fast-paced brutal combat, and fully fleshed-out world, make this book hard to put down. And there are dragons. I'm a sucker for dragons.

I am burning up to get to the sequel!
