Falling for your friend is no small thing. It can blow up in your face, especially when you're in a group of friends. Taylar and Keon have all the attraction in the world and all the reason they can't act on it... until they do.

Y'all know how I feel about Elle Wright and I loved this--top to bottom. The angst of watching them work through what was holding them back, the passion when they fought what they felt, and the relief when they stopped. Elle Wright is a pro at this and Some Kind of Love is no different. Taylar and Keon have so much chemistry, and so much sweetness. The way they care for each other is great. Rashaad's wedding and the fallout was a really nice subplot that didn't take away from the story. Nice touch.

Of course my only gripe is the language the friends sometimes use with each other--I don't believe you don't have to treat people with care because they're your friends and the language just comes off harsh to me. But that's a stylistic thing that didn't dull how I felt about the story.
