Honestly this is my fav so far in the whole Mastered Series.
1. Because Molly is such an inspiration in wanting to be a better person by becoming stronger after going through her issues. Even with her insecurities, she grew so much through this book. Not only because Deacon showed how much it means to have someone who loves you beside you but how far she can on her own by becoming more confident in herself.
2. Yes, Deacon is a d*ck but it’s a fault I grew to love for some reason. There are many people who are rude to be rude but Deacon knew his arrogance and knew his weaknesses. His only problem, not really knowing how to fix his bluntness and arrogance in a relationship instead of doing it solo all the time. He had to slowly change his approach as he realized Molly wasn’t going to take his shit.
3. Their relationship grew over time, even if 2 months is short for dating, they still didn’t jump into something too fast. Deacon had his reasons and so did Molly. It was satisfying knowing they thought a couple things through before just being completely sexually attracted to each other.
And overall the story was nice as we got to know more about their back stories and how they came together not knowing how similar their backgrounds were. They had each other’s backs, even with their faults, and it didn’t take long for them to realize their mistakes.
