This is my first time reading a contemporary omegaverse book and I really loved it!
The pacing was amazing. You won't get bored but at the same time it's not at breakneck speed. The characters were also well-fleshed out. The FMC isn't annoying. Their character dynamics flow easily and the interactions, both the good and the bad, don't feel forced.

If you're into:
- Omegaverse (nesting, knotting, scents, bite marks, fated mates, and all the fun stuff)
- Possessive Alpaholes
- Male Omega
- A dash of mafia/mercenary thingamajig
- Emotional storyline
- A mix of badass and damsel FMC
- Second-chance/groveling (that's the main plot this book sets it up and the real groveling will perhaps happen in the next book)
- FMC who hit rock-bottom
Then you'll really like this!
Just a heads up that the spice level is pretty low and the MMCs will poorly treat the FMC on the majority of the book.
Can't wait to read the next one!
