Hong Kong is fascinating on so many levels and I'm thrilled to read a book by an author who lives there, with a story taking place there. I've never been to Hong Kong, and I don't know if I'll ever have the opportunity so this is one way of discovering it, even if it's a fictional novel.
I admit that although at times the main characters are a bit heavy and difficult to identify with, the plot is pretty good, and I learned plenty about the internet and its dangers. Or rather, how us humans use it to harm others. A really good read.
The author had me thoroughly intrigued with unexpected twists and serious themes. I'm definitely adding him to authors to follow, and look forward to other books from him.
