Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.

Another very quick decision to DNF! After I was tempted to quit three times just in the first chapter I decided to abandon this one. The writing style, the gore, and the jumping around between seemingly unconnected stories grated on me, and other reviews that were unhappy with this author’s characterization of scientists sealed the deal (though obvi the scientists featured in this book are quite evil).
