Clearly the best of the Ancient Greek tragedies, cause its story is by far the coolest.* After the Big Reveal, Oedipus gets quite epic, though actually just whining about his fate. That's some good writing.
* Currently Medea is #2 (I have still to read most of Euripides for the first time), cutting up her kid and exiting this motral coil across the sky in a chariot drawn by snakes. A hair in front of Agamemnon.
