Designer Relationships: A Guide to Happy Monogamy, Positive Polyamory, and Optimistic Open Relationships by Patricia Johnson, Mark A. Michaels

3.0

This was a gentle & basic overview of non-monogamous relationships, the kind of approachable book you would hand your mom to explain your alternative lifestyle. There’s nothing new or thought-provoking for people even mildly experienced with this sort of thing, though I did like the idea of thinking of relationships as creative processes rather than work. Also, very cis-het & white, though the authors toss in other mentions here and there. Regardless, pretty inoffensive! Just not for me.
