The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman
1.0
I hated this book when I started it. The writing was superficial, erratic and frustrating. I only persisted in reading it as it’s the book of the month for my book club.
I didn’t want to pick the book up, however I did finish it. I didn’t love it and I definitely don’t recommend reading it; there are much better Murder mysteries out there. However, the story did pick up in the last 100 pages and there were some pleasant messages throughout the book. I wanted to stop reading it up until the story was revealed and even then if someone took the book away from me I wouldn’t have cared.
The book may not be terrible, but unfortunately it wasn’t for me and I’m giving is 1.5 stars.
