The Curse of Braeburn Castle by Karen Baugh Menuhin

4.0

I have to say I’m seriously inclined to continue reading this series (or, to be exact, listening to it - which might be an important part of my love for this series and these characters, as the narration is outstanding). Good old Dame Christie can rest in peace, because her inspiration keeps things going.

Here our Heathcliff is made to deal with some ghosts and a very much gothic Scottish castle, with the very much expected treasure, curse, dungeons, and couple of dead bodies. All the elements of a jolly good murder mystery.

Our beloved main character also falls in love, which I’m sure will be addressed more in depth in the next installment. And acquires a kitten, because he’s meant to make all the readers love him even more.
