Easy 5-star. Fiction, but may as well have been non-fiction. Writing, amazing, told from the perspectives of the two main characters; characters, rich and real; story, interesting and compelling. But really the beauty is in the world he's created - no, maybe not created, because it's a world that already exists in real life, so it's more the world he takes us into. Felt a little like reading The Wire, if The Wire were a book instead of a tv show.
